March 12, 2025Day 9: Murchison Falls – Transfer to Kibale National Park
In the morning, you will depart from Murchison Falls and drive to Kibale National Park, the primate capital of Uganda. The journey takes approximately seven to eight hours, passing through the Albertine Rift Valley and the lush tea plantations of western Uganda. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the rainforest.

Day 10: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early breakfast will be followed by an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest. Kibale National Park is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees and is considered one of the best places in the world to see these primates in their natural habitat. The trek also offers a chance to spot other primates, including red colobus monkeys and L’Hoest’s monkeys. After the trek, you will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation project that offers excellent birdwatching opportunities and encounters with more primates. After lunch, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which takes approximately two and a half hours. Upon arrival, you will embark on an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains before heading to your lodge for the night.

Day 11: Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
The day begins with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, you will take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The cruise offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Later in the evening, you will drive through the Ishasha sector in search of the famous tree-climbing lions before returning to your lodge for the night.

Day 12: Queen Elizabeth – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a journey that takes approximately four to five hours. The drive passes through rolling hills and rural villages. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and, if time allows, visit the Batwa pygmies for a cultural experience. The Batwa were the original forest dwellers of Bwindi and have a rich history of survival in the jungle.

Day 13: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
The highlight of your safari will be a gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on the trek. The trek can take anywhere from two to six hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Once you find them, you will spend an unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, you will have lunch and then drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a stunning lake known for its numerous islands and beautiful scenery. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and relax by the lakeside.

Day 14: Lake Bunyonyii & Transfer to Entebbe
After a relaxing morning at Lake Bunyonyi, you will begin your journey back to Entebbe. The drive takes approximately seven to eight hours, passing through scenic landscapes and small towns. Along the way, you will stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenirs. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your incredible 14-day wilderness
