Detailed Itinerary of the 12 Days Women Group Safari.
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your female safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, you can visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, relax on the shores of Lake Victoria, or take a sunset boat cruise. In the evening, you will have a welcome dinner with introductions and an overview of the journey ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, you will drive to Kibale National Park, known for its large population of wild chimpanzees. The journey takes approximately six hours, passing through scenic landscapes and local communities. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and later take a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can spot birds, monkeys, and other wildlife including the culture experience of the cultures surrounding the park.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning, you will set out for chimpanzee trekking in the lush Kibale Forest. Expert trackers will guide you as you locate a habituated chimpanzee troop, observing their behaviors up close. After lunch, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for an evening game drive to see elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes.

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel
You will start the day with a sunrise game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where predators like lions Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes, Pumbas and leopards can be spotted. Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a relaxing boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, which is home to large pods of hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for a women’s storytelling session around a bonfire.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Batwa Community Visit
After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting out into the dense rain forest to track a habituated gorilla family. Once you find them, you will spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. The trek can be strenuous but is one of the most rewarding wildlife encounters in the world. In the afternoon, you will visit the Batwa pygmy community to learn about their traditional way of life before returning to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 7: Flight to Nairobi, Kenya – Women’s Empowerment Tour

Upon arrival, you will visit a women’s empowerment project, such as the Kazuri Beads Factory or a local cooperative that supports single mothers. In the evening, you will have dinner at a traditional Kenyan restaurant before checking into your hotel.

Day 8: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will depart Nairobi for Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous safari destination. The scenic drive takes about five to six hours, arriving in time for lunch. Day 9: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara
Today, you will enjoy a full day of game drives in the vast plains of Masai Mara. You can also opt for a hot air balloon safari at sunrise. After a picnic lunch in the bush, you will continue with game viewing before returning to your lodge for women’s circle discussion and relaxation.
