Day 01: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or explore Entebbe Botanical Gardens for a relaxing introduction to Uganda’s natural beauty. Dinner and overnight in Entebbe.

Day 02: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will begin the scenic journey to Kibale National Park, known for its dense rainforest and large population of primates, including over 1,500 chimpanzees. The drive takes about six hours, passing through beautiful tea plantations and rural landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and relax before taking a guided nature walk in the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can spot monkeys, birds, and other small wildlife. Dinner and overnight in Kibale.

Day 03: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest Park
After an early breakfast, you will set off to the headquarters of kibale national park, you will have a general briefing about the National park and the chimpanzees (chimp trekking) as the main attraction and activity of the day, you will be allocated groups guide by a ranger guide, and ready to set off into the forest for chimpanzee trekking. With the help of experienced rangers, you will track a habituated chimpanzee troop and observe their playful interactions, grooming habits, and feeding routines. The trek takes between 2-4 hours, depending on their movements. After lunch at the lodge, you will have time to relax. Dinner and overnight in Kibale.

Day 04: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, a drive of approximately three hours. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. This area is known for its high concentration of lions, as well as elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 05: Morning Game Drive & Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, The day begins with a sunrise game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you have another opportunity to spot wildlife, including leopards, warthogs, hippos, and numerous bird species., you will return to the lodge to relax before heading out for a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. This waterway is home to one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa, as well as crocodiles, elephants, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 06: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector, where you may have the chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions. The journey offers breathtaking views of rolling hills, lush forests, and rural villages. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and relax before your gorilla trekking adventure the next day. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.

Day 07: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Community Visit
Today is the highlight of the safari as you embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing, and then begin your trek through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take you from 2-6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once you find them, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing their behavior and interactions. After lunch at the lodge, you will visit a local community to learn about the traditions and culture of the Batwa pygmies, the indigenous people of the forest or you can choose to relax at the lodge as u immerse yourselves in the gorilla photos. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi.

Day 08: Return to Entebbe – Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a day use at the hotel before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
