An early warm breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking procedures. You'll be assigned to a gorilla family group based on fitness level and interests. Embark on an exciting gorilla trek through the forest with experienced trackers and guides. The trek duration varies depending on the location of the gorilla family, but it typically ranges from 1 to 4 hours. Spend a magical hour in the presence of a gorilla family, observing their behavior and interactions. It's a rare opportunity to witness these incredible creatures up close in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Reflect on your gorilla encounter and share experiences with fellow travelers.

On your last day in the volcanoes, embark on a golden monkey tracking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. Trek through bamboo forests to find these playful and endangered primates in there bamboo vegetation. Return to your lodge for lunch and prepare for check-out.  After lunch, journey back to Kigali with unforgettable memories of your gorilla tracking experience. Depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity to visit local markets or cultural sites in Kigali before transferring to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
