DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ENTEBBE 

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport for our 9 days Uganda Safari, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to explore the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or relax by Lake Victoria. Dinner and overnight in Entebbe.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS VIA ZZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY

After an early breakfast, you will begin the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience, giving you a chance to see these endangered giants in their natural habitat. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will take a short hike to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view of the Nile as it forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge. DAY 3: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT-CRUISE ON THE NILE IN MURCHISON FALLS NP

3 days fishing safari in Murchison

The day starts with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, offering the chance to see lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and numerous antelope species, We then continue browsing the Drive circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals. After breakfast, return to the lodge for relaxation before embarking on a boat safari along the Nile in the afternoon. The cruise takes you up close to hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and an array of birdlife, ending near the bottom of Murchison Falls, where you can witness the power of the cascading waters. DAY 4: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NP

After breakfast we transfer towards Kibale Forest NP as we continue our 9 days Uganda Safari, you will embark on a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. The journey takes you through tea plantations, rural villages (typical African village setup in the far countryside), and the breathtaking Albertine Rift Valley. Lunch will be enroute, with stops for photography and refreshments. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax before the next day’s chimpanzee trekking adventure. Dinner and overnight in Kibale National Park.

DAY 5: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING IN KIBALE FOREST-BIGODI SWAMP WALK

Kibale Forest National Park

After an early breakfast, you will head into Kibale Forest for a thrilling chimpanzee trekking experience. The trek lasts between two to four hours, depending on the movement of the chimpanzees. Once you locate them, you will spend an hour observing their interactions, playful behaviors, and communication. After lunch, you will take a guided nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run project that is home to various monkey species, birds, and rare plants. Dinner and overnight in Kibale National Park.

Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi Plains. This area is known for its high concentration of predators, including lions and leopards, as well as large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda Kobs. After breakfast, return to the lodge for some relaxation before an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. This waterway is home to one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa, along with crocodiles, elephants, and various bird species. Dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The drive offers stunning views of the Rift Valley and remote villages. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax in preparation for the following day’s gorilla trekking experience. DAY 9. GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI – TRANSFER TO KIGALI – DEPARTURE

Bwindi is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the mountain gorillas. Today you head into the jungle for the great highlight of this safari in Uganda, your gorilla trekking experience. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. You will be taken in a group by a specialized guide into the jungle for your gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the beautiful nature and spend one hour with the gorillas, an unforgettable experience. This Impenetrable Forest is also full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest elephants, sitatungas. After the trek, enjoy lunch before beginning the drive to Kigali, stopping in Kigali town for souvenir shopping before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
